Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Where would we be. Where would we be without friends and family? But even if not, lets thank God for a wonderful journey. we've been given over a year more than we were told at our first diagnosis back in Jan 2011, so thats how we are living it - one day at a time. Forgive us if we don't get around to answering all these txts etc, but believe me, they are so all very much appreciated, and as the old song says 'dont get around much anymore', well, we don't! Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Sometimes we question why stuff happens, or why it doesn't happen. Here I was, feeling great, all set for a positive report from the oncologist, only to be told my scans showed a deteriorating situation, further growths in the lungs and lymph nodes. And chemo should not be put off any longer! Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Back to reality - part 2. Whats that I hear? There is so much to be thankful for. Thursday, November 17, 2011. On the home run! Six down, two to go - its a good feeling. Had the sixth intravenous chemo 'boost' on Wed, and as usual, feeling a bit wonky for a few days after. Friday, January 27, 2012. Still not out of the woods by any means, but it shows the combo of chemo, supplements, improved diet and consistent and prayerful support from people like you are having the desired effect. So thank you all! Back on the chemo pill regime, no intravenous (thankfully) for a few months, and more tests and scan in another 2-3 months. Life goes on. I'll keep fighting, we'll all keep praying, and who knows? We just might lick this thing after all. Have a great weekend!
