The programs run by our group are constantly changing to reflect the needs of the refugee families we support and the greater needs of refugees internationally. Our current programs are:. 1) Driving Lessons generously donated by RACV. 2) Cultural Fund for School Age Children. 3) Tertiary support fund for refugees currently studying at a tertiary level here in Albury/Wodonga.

Assisting Refugees to Settle in Albury-Wodonga. Murray Valley Sanctuary Refugee Group Inc. (MVSRG) was formed in November 2004. It is part of a wider network in Australia - the Sanctuary Refugee Foundation. That was founded in 1988 by Sue and Peter Hallam in Coffs Harbour on the north coast of NSW. Since 2006 we have given over 40 loans to a v alue of over $140,000. Feedback from attendance at 2018 Refugee Alternatives Conference, Melbourne. The refugee with a secret rock star past.
