The world seems to abound with talented imaginative people. Some sites take your breath away with photos which are not only beautiful, but technically brilliant. Other sites have this and country charm too. So, in no particular order, here are a few of the sites where I go to when I want to lose myself for a while. Some of his shots defy understanding.

Les Peters Photographic Website. The photos are divided up into groups of where you generally get to see the bird or the most well known bird families. This section needs a lots of work and will change quickly. These agile birds catch insects on the wing. The grouping includes swallows, swifts, fly catches and night jars. These birds usually take their prey from the air and use their talons to dispatch their prey. The group doesnt include birds like Kookaburras, which use their bills instead.
