Writing Between the Fighting. 16" x 20", oil on wood panel, 2014, private collection. Rather than create something new, I simply transferred the fabric "flames" from the Mark 1 over to the Mark 2 (the fabric moves nicely when I'm up on the stilts). To cover up the now-redundant bottom two holes, I used a couple of stickers on each side, the top holes being all that was needed to attach to the backpack (see the build log. For more details). Peter Paylor and another Sticky Story. Earlier this month Belleville sculptor Peter Paylor undertook a 1-week artist residency at Small Pond. In May 2014 I was selected as one of the Cambodia Creative Four. Four international artists destined for Sihanoukville, Cambodia. Each of us would spend one month doing arts workshops with underprivileged kids, hosted by Let Us Create. LUC is an NGO that serves more than 100 kids, providing education, nutrition, and artistic experiences. They provide a safe and nurturing environment where kids can just be kids.
