History of Muryōkoin. Welcome to Muryōkoin. A Shingon Temple and Shukubo in Kōbo Daishi's Paradise. The history of Muryōkoin goes back more than 1000 years. Muryōkoin and Shicchiin were two seperate temples, which were located in different places in Koyasan. They were combined into one temple and moved to this present location during the Meji period after a the big fire in 1888. History of Muryōkoin. About our Guest Rooms. Space for you at Muryōkoin. Our guest rooms are traditional Japanese tatami rooms. For sleeping they will be prepared for you with futons and sheets. All of our rooms are equipped with gas stoves during the cold season. There is also a save box in each room. Bathrooms are shared and there is a nice hot traditional Japanese bath, called Ofuro.
