Saturday, August 30, 2014. Little things and big things. Here, there and everywhere. The summer was full, peaceful and graced with so many special moments. Our annual Burnt Island trip. And back home again with some new friends. Helping old friends build a new house in the woods while the kids enjoyed two weeks of pure childhood bliss - outside, running with friends all day long. Sunday, July 13, 2014. It seems another lifetime ago, a long way back. This little sweet thing was a teeny tiny little sweet thing. How does it happen? You grasp onto every smile, every word, every little nuance of that little person growing big but still so much of it slips away. Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Louise dickinson rich, we took to the woods. I am one of those people who run into winter with open arms, ready to embrace it wholeheartedly. I love the cold, the layers, the skis, the skates, the shoveling, the snowman building, the bird and squirrel feeding and watching, the inside crafting and knitting, the popcorn and hot cocoa after every sled adventure. The first snow. The gentle flakes drifting to the ground, covering the grays, browns and greens in sparkly white.
