I first began taking pictures and making prints at about twelve years old, with a Box Brownie and a developing kit, donated by my uncle. Film processing was done in a cupboard under the stairs and my first prints, were made on chlorobromide paper in my bedroom. I purchased my first 35mm camera a few years later and began to experiment with infrared film, with limited success. BLACK and WHITE / INFRARED.

Andy, Craig and Darryl, a publicity shot for their band, the brilliantly named: No Sensa Yuma. Lisa wanted something different for her model portfolio, so I tried some infrared. This was taken in a hurry, as getting a collie to pose is impossible! People in the background were edited out and a new sky added. My sister saw the picture of Lisa and wanted to try the technique for herself! I chose to cross-process slide film in negative chemistry for this, very effective portrait.
