40 Things before I am 40. 34/40: University College Chapel Choral Evensong, Sunday 19th October, 2014. This is the last of the evensongs, hence the celebratory whisky. Why do I like Evensong so much? I like the way it lifts Sunday evening from Monday’s return to work. I like the formality and restraint and poetry. I love the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis.
