The blog formerly known as Music Musings. Saturday, 16 February 2013. I did consider seeking funding for Rock related research some time ago (see Hazardous headbanging! But as usual I didn't go any further than the, "Wouldn't it be a good idea." stage. But there is clearly research money out there for those who are willing to bid for it. When I finally did the other night, I was pleasantly surprised to find that as well as being added to their list, I was also offered a free download of a live track: "Get What's Coming". Dave Grohl has produced an EP of four cover songs for Swedish "death Satan metal band" Ghost B.C. Available for live streaming now. But these guys have always been more Blue Oyster Cult than Graf Orlock. While I would have a Ghost novice start with the band's first album. And then go to the second. The EP, which also adds a fifth song Secular Haze (live), will be out next week.

HBO ran the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2013 induction program over the weekend but cut the intro where the Rush fans went apeshit during Jann Wenner's intro speech. But HBO did post it online. Radovan Hudecek is a teacher in the Musikskolan/Bolandsskolan's aesthetical program and a visiting lecturer at Janaceks Music Conservatory in the Ostrava-Czech Republic. Radovan Hudecek received reward as a pedagog of the year 2001 from Royal Music of Academy in Stockholm.
