Music For A Future Age. Popular Music and Culture 1977- 1984. Saturday, January 17, 2009. Change in direction again? I'm thinking of changing direction with this blog again and making it a Marco Pirroni related one. Am uploading a VERY rare unavailable anywhere Rema Rema track called International Scale. Thanks to Gary Asquith who has been ripping old unreleased Rema Rema tracks from tapes to his PC. More to come hopefully! Check out the Facebook Wolfmen Page. I created for Wolfmen news and Dave's blog.

Music For A Future Age. Popular Music and Culture 1977- 1984. Wednesday, May 06, 2009. I asked Marco some questions about the 1995 single 'Wonderful' as part of my nearly finished series on the Ant singles. Here are his replies, in italics. When was Wonderful written and what input did you have? We did it about 6 months before the album sessions and I came up with the main D/Fsharpe Minor/C/Em sequence. Who is Bonnie Hayes. And what did she do? Norman, If, Phoenix, Woman Love Run Through Me, Goes Around).

Music For A Future Age: March 2009
http://musicforafutureage.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Music For A Future Age. Popular Music and Culture 1977- 1984. Saturday, March 28, 2009. Marco on Rough Stuff. I asked Marco Pirroni a few questions about Rough Stuff. This was a difficult one because Marco didn't write it with Adam, it was an Ant/ Cymone track, and Marco came in at the end and added some guitar. But here goes anyway! Marco is in italics. Ok, Rough Stuff. What input did you have on this song, it's not an Ant Marco one so I presume you came in at the end and added guitar? Marco on Can't Se...

http://antcomics.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 13, 2011. Wow, I have been working on this arc for awhile. Granted there was a loooong break in there.but still. The newest page, Page 29 is right here. If you want to take a look. Another ending I was going to go with, again, would have spun off into a whole new arc, so I ditched that one. I was having trouble coming up with an ending where I wouldn't feel like I left it open-ended, you know? So, Antcomics will continue, but not on a regular update type schedule. They'll pretty much be w...

Music For A Future Age. Popular Music and Culture 1977- 1984. Thursday, April 07, 2016. Sex Pistols Sounds April 4, 1976. Sounds. April 4, 1976. THE SMALL, sleazoid El Paradise Club in Soho is not one of the more obvious places for English rock to finally get to grips with the Seventies, but when you're trying to create the atmosphere of anarchy, rebellion and exclusiveness that's necessary as a breeding ground, what better place? At the moment, that criteria is best embodied in the Sex Pistols. They...

Tuesday, November 29, 2005. Ipod dementia, and so forth. Over the last several years the Apple Ipod has crept from the fantasies of tech junkies and music geeks into the media and listening mainstream. This is not a fad! Reaching it's penultimate popularity last Christmas (anyone who doesn't have one surely will this holiday season, right? The Ipod has become an all too necessary tool in the modern listening experience. So what is really necessary now? Your Ipod and vinyl! Serge Gainsbourg (French singer...
