A Has Been that Never Was: Un-Origin-al: Wolverine
http://ahasbeenthatneverwas.blogspot.com/2009/05/un-origin-al-wolverine.html
A Has Been that Never Was. Sunday, 3 May 2009. It can easily be said that the X-Men. Franchise is worth a good flogging. Over many years the comics have seen changing writers for the better and the worse. It wasn’t going to be long before someone made a film or three about it; Bryan Singer did a fine job of the first two, and even Brett Ratner’s dependence on direction over dialogue took the characters in new directions in the third. I suspect that for Hood directing is like playing a game of Sims. He...

A Has Been that Never Was: Weekend Winddown 8
http://ahasbeenthatneverwas.blogspot.com/2009/03/weekend-winddown-mix-8.html
A Has Been that Never Was. Monday, 23 March 2009. REPOSTED minus the leaked (? I've learned to save my posts elsewhere since blogger started their tyranny of removing posts. So I've actually lost track of what's truly leaked and what is released (because Australia is VERY behind when it comes to international musician's disc album releases (if they ever are) for bands like Mason Proper. Stay tuned, this frustrated blogger will be moving to wordpress soon. Night’s falling…. Andrew Bird – Take Courage.

A Has Been that Never Was: October 2008
http://ahasbeenthatneverwas.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
A Has Been that Never Was. Tuesday, 21 October 2008. Some of you may have noticed the sudden disappearance of two of my posts. The first time was unusual. I received no notification of removal. I had posted a number of dance songs, with the typical intention of exposing any lovely readers of my blog to new artists. It was removed. I thought this was an action taken by Elbows (a blogroll I'm listed with: see links to the left). But they didn't know what I was gabbing on about. Blogger can reinstate these ...

A Has Been that Never Was: March 2008
http://ahasbeenthatneverwas.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
A Has Been that Never Was. Sunday, 30 March 2008. What is your childhood trauma? One TV series I've really become addicted to this year is. I remember over a year ago when I was in London I saw all these posters for it and there was this general buzz about it being controversial (which always hightens my interest). And it is pretty controversial, actually! All these attractive 17-year-olds are running around doing lots of adult things in adult places. For example, in a Season One episode, "Michelle", we ...

A Has Been that Never Was: June 2008
http://ahasbeenthatneverwas.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
A Has Been that Never Was. Friday, 13 June 2008. Friday the 13th is considered unlucky due to the the associations both Friday and the 13th have (Friday being Jesus's apparent day of Crucifixion, and 13 being seen as an unlucky number). For most of us though Friday is the last day of the working week (which is a lucky thing) and 13 is just another two digit number. However you take it, I'll take any excuse to watch some good horror and tonight I plan to see the classic. Jason Vs Freddy 2: The Rematch.

A Has Been that Never Was: A Ratatat on Your Door
http://ahasbeenthatneverwas.blogspot.com/2009/05/ratatat-on-your-door.html
A Has Been that Never Was. Monday, 4 May 2009. A Ratatat on Your Door. New York’s experimental electronic duo RATATAT. Are not new. Establishing themselves firmly in the music scene for the last nine years, Ratatat have built a rapport and toured with the likes of Interpol. And Cansei de Ser Sexy. They’ve released three albums and an array of reputable remixes (check out how much they amplify the energy of Björk’s. While Ratatat love the, er, liveliness of performing live, Evan admits they have a propens...

A Has Been that Never Was: September 2008
http://ahasbeenthatneverwas.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
A Has Been that Never Was. Sunday, 21 September 2008. Ipods have been a part of everybody's everything since they were released back in 2001. And while the makers have improved its durability they are designed to ensure the consumer will "upgrade" their ipod unit and keep buying new models. Which of course I'm a big sucker for. I just purchased the new ipod 120g classic (because carrying a lot of music in a small box is still more of a novelty to me than colour or "touchability"). So Low So High 3:58 Maps.
