Music Tech Projects: Project number three

http://www.musictechsh.blogspot.com/2007/03/project-number-three_08.html

Thursday, March 8, 2007. So this is my third project. Here in music tech I used a bass, a snare with a delay on it, a highhat with chorus, a kick drum and guiro (it sounds like a duck). Chck it out it's pretty cool, and completely fixed now yay.it's good computer :). March 8, 2007 at 6:36 AM. I liked how it had a slower tempo than most of the other project's I've heard. Keep up the good work. March 12, 2007 at 8:48 AM. I liked the bass line. Good Job. March 12, 2007 at 8:49 AM. March 19, 2007 at 6:07 AM.

Music Tech Projects: Project one

http://www.musictechsh.blogspot.com/2007/02/project-one.html

Friday, February 2, 2007. Ok so this is my first little project. Thingy. anyway you should take a listen. It's fun, I used a bass drum and a high hat and a snare and some toms, and the very first thing I had sounded like "My Sherona" so I changed it :). Really cool, I liked the drums that you used. Good Job. February 7, 2007 at 6:17 AM. I like this. It sounds kind of like something from a U2 song. February 9, 2007 at 10:46 AM. Loved the beats. it was awsome. keep upp the good work. =].

Music Tech Projects: Project 5

http://www.musictechsh.blogspot.com/2007/04/project-5.html

Friday, April 13, 2007. This is my fifth project. For this project we had to experiment with layering. I used a strings, a snare, hig hat, and a kick drum. 5/31/07: I finally fixed this project I think. I didn't get the layer. I heard all of the instruments you mentioned, but I didn't hear them playing the same thing. Percussion instruments are a tough fit for a layer loop of this kind because you want to back up your layer loop with drums. It's hard to back up drums with more drums.

Music Tech Class: April 2007

http://rabusemusictechclass.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html

Thursday, April 12, 2007. A layer channel gives you the ability to control more than one channel at once. Layer channels have no sound of thier own, but they can control many other chanels. These controled channels are called "children". Adding a layer channel is simple. In the main menu at the top of the screen, go to channels- add one- layer. Come up with a good blends and explain why you chose the sounds that you did in your post. Here's an example of what I'm looking for by Jennie (class of '07):.

Monday, May 21, 2007. Project 7 Children's Story. In this project you need to combine the skills you have established with FL studio's music composition tools and the Edison audio editior to record a children's story. I like using children's storys because they are short, and I have a lot of them on hand. Posted by B. Rabuse Blog. Wednesday, May 9, 2007. Project 6: The Edison Audio Editior. Posted by B. Music Tech Class: Assignment 3: The Arpeggiator

http://rabusemusictechclass.blogspot.com/2007/04/project-4-arpeggiator.html

Thursday, April 12, 2007. Assignment 3: The Arpeggiator. The arpeggiator is a powerful tool that you can use to make one note into many. Open the channel settings tab of any melodic instrument (not a drum) and click on FUNC- the last tab in the series. In this window you can turn on the arpegiator and tweak it's settings. You can change the octave, range, speed and even the chord or scale that your channel will play. As always, comment on your classmates work by visiting their blogs.

Music Tech Class: Project 6: The Edison Audio Editior

http://rabusemusictechclass.blogspot.com/2007/05/project-6-edison-audio-editior.html

Wednesday, May 9, 2007. Project 6: The Edison Audio Editior. Recording your analog voice- or an instrument is done with a microphone. Once you make an analog recording it becomes a "sample" that you can play with. You can do a lot of editing with the powerful Edision Audio Editor that comes with FL Studio. Think of it as word processing for recordings. You can edit parts out, insert bits here and there, delete noise and even insert silence. Posted by B. Rabuse Blog. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
