Ordinary Girl.Extraordinary Life. Friday, February 12, 2016. 31 Days to Clean - Day 1. On Day 1 of 31 Days to Clean Sarah Mae asks. Why do you want a clean home? And all kinds of reasons came to my mind,. So that others don't judge me. So that I can open up my home to family and friends and not be embarrassed. So that the voices in my head that tell me I'm not enough will be quiet. So that I am not ashamed when people stop by unannounced. And as I ran through this list I realized something. View my compl...

Ordinary Girl.Extraordinary Life. Saturday, May 30, 2015. Financial Goals Update from May and Our New June Goals. These were our May financial goals. Pay all of our May bills. Finish funding our closing cost account (we only need 377 dollars)! Since my last financial goals post some of our goals have changed. One of our conditions is that we must pay off 3 accounts and close them. One account is an old debt (around 1,000), one is a store account that we opened in order to improve our credit (around 3...

Ordinary Girl...Extraordinary Life: She Knew Not That It Was Jesus
http://melissanorththomas.blogspot.com/2016/02/she-knew-not-that-it-was-jesus.html
Ordinary Girl.Extraordinary Life. Monday, February 22, 2016. She Knew Not That It Was Jesus. And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Mary broken and afraid, had gone to the grave to tend to the body of her Lord. He was DEAD! He had promised to...

Ordinary Girl...Extraordinary Life: June 2015
http://melissanorththomas.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Ordinary Girl.Extraordinary Life. Saturday, June 27, 2015. I made Chocolate Chip Muffins on Saturday, as a special breakfast for the kids. I like to make them something special on Saturdays because during the week things are so hectic (I’m still asleep) in the mornings I barely get the cereal in the bowl. These muffins were very good and I will be making them again. I think next time I will double the recipe and make some BIG muffins and some normal size muffins. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

Ordinary Girl...Extraordinary Life: Do They Want What I Have
http://melissanorththomas.blogspot.com/2016/02/do-they-want-what-i-have.html
Ordinary Girl.Extraordinary Life. Monday, February 15, 2016. Do They Want What I Have. Our conduct has a direct influence on how people think about the gospel. The world doesn't judge us by our theology; the world judges us by our behavior. People don't necessarily want to know what we believe about the Bible. They want to see if what we believe makes a difference in our lives. Our actions either bring glory to God or misrepresent His truth.”. Carolyn Mahaney, Feminine Appeal. Do They Want What We Have?

Denee Richardson's caffeinated inspiration to keep your soul goin'. Monday, February 22, 2010. My “Get Fit/Feel Pretty” Journey. When I first went to my doctor weighing 214lbs we set a goal of 165lbs. I honestly was not sure I could get there and thought to myself, “I’ll be happy if I can get under 190lbs.” Today I weigh 172lbs. Furthermore, I’m not sure what my goal is anymore! My advice to everyone is DON’T GET OVERWEIGHT! I’m not at my journey’s end yet, but for the first time in a VERY lo...Toward th...

Denee Richardson's caffeinated inspiration to keep your soul goin'. Monday, February 22, 2010. My “Get Fit/Feel Pretty” Journey. Not only was this the first time I’d seen my mom cry in public, but I had no earthly idea she cared that she was fat! As a matter of fact, she wasn’t “fat” to me; she was just “mom”! I had been a size 12 but I tried on a size 10 suit and it was too big! I got an 8, too big! In shock I asked the sales attendant to get me a size 6, even it was too big! Granted, I didn’t rea...
