London Bridge… in rural NSW | musing, photographically.
https://musingphotographically.wordpress.com/2013/06/13/london-bridge-in-rural-nsw-2
Back again (with photos from Moscow). London Bridge… in rural NSW. June 13, 2013. A and I have been doing some bushland exploring around Canberra recently (which sounds, appropriately, more amateurish than ‘hiking’ or even ‘bushwalking’). I think this is partly because the weather is perfect for it – chilled, crisp and sunny – and partly because too many tedious hours inside lately has meant I crave plenty of open space on weekends. More information about the walk is available to download here. If you...

London Bridge… in rural NSW. June 25, 2013. Saturday morning at the farmers’ markets at EPIC has become a much-loved ritual for A and me, and is one of the times I feel most Canberra-proud: wonderful produce, unpretentious location, good coffee, fresh crepes and the inability to walk from one end of the shed to the other without running into at least one colleague each. I’ll post soon with a couple of more involved recipes, but wanted to start with simple instructions for roasting chestnuts. La...1 Score...

Newer posts →. January 31, 2013. While cycling around the lake last week, I was tempted by several ripening patches of blackberry bushes. Eventually I couldn’t resist – at a particular accessible bush, almost underneath the King’s Avenue Bridge, my lovely and very patient companion waited while I weighed up the likelihood that the berries had been sprayed. Which assured me spraying needs to be signposted). Blackberry, mint and fetta salad. Handful roughly chopped mint leaves. And a simple dressing. Despi...

Fatphotographer's photo projects. Dragonflies of Milton Keynes. The aim of any project appearing here is to capture on image, be it of an iconic landscape or individual subject there are times where planning needs to go into your photography and these projects are my attempts at giving you an insight into how I prepared, what I learnt and what I ended up with. With the interconnectivity of modern day people; Tribal classifications and belonging become more complex, less obvious, but nonetheless still subtly defining constituents and creating barriers. Tribes" are inevitable. Defined by personalities, common history, similarity of beliefs, similarity of purpose. Differences create the invaluable richness of society. Without tribes, we would be robots / clones. What bonds you to your brother?
