Searching for life's beauty.taking time to enjoy the fullness of life.savoring the sweetness. Tuesday, June 27, 2006. SPC {Pop Art- 4}. 4 days that rocked in a nutshell (.well, a fairly lengthy nutshell):. Saturday was by far my favorite day of the trip. Did I enjoy the drive? Sigh* What's a mother to do? But I di...

A Little Imagination and a Pile of Junk: tutorial: self-portrait stencil
http://littleblackkitty.typepad.com/a_little_imagination_and_/2007/06/tutorial_selfpo.html
A Little Imagination and a Pile of Junk. Laquo; my new favorite thing. But let us say this: it rocked ». June 15, 2007. I am soooo excited about this one. Please do try it, especially you journal artists. It is a lot more fun than you'd think to manipulate images of yourself. Although I make stencils a lot, it had never occurred to me to do a self-portrait until I read Randi Feuerhelm-Watts' brilliant book, Wide Open. If you don't have her book, go get it. So many inspiring ideas! Okay, let's get to it.

Today I drew this picture
http://todayidrewthispicture.blogspot.com/2007/03/should-have-kept-it-secret-i-made-this.html
Today I drew this picture. Friday, March 30, 2007. Should have kept it a secret! I made this mixed media piece, titled Take that , with the idea of representing kid’s play. In it I used one of my Grandson’s plastic toy guys. ( at the bottom of the piece. I made the BIG mistake of not keeping that a SECRET. Posted by JacqueLynn @ 9:50 AM. Wow, what a fun collage, so cool! Ha, i love the story behind this piece, my kids are the same way, out of sight, out of mind. Great collage, fun story!

artbyjune: Abstract art play
http://artbyjune.blogspot.com/2006/05/abstract-art-play.html
Tuesday, May 23, 2006. I thought I'd try out the inspire me thursday project this week, which was abstract art. I'd been working on a still life set-up of a cream and sugar bowl over the weekend in a realistic way and so abstracted from that. I used Daler-Rowney oil pastels on green pastel paper 8 by 12 ins. Its more muted in colour than my usual style, but I'm leaving as is because its an experiment. Posted by artbyjune at 8:44 PM. 23 May, 2006 23:01. 24 May, 2006 14:45. The colors and movement are super.

Today I drew this picture

Today I drew this picture. Thursday, March 08, 2007. For Inspire Me Thursday’s Theme: Art and Architecture. As a digital artist, this is my version of Street Art. My daughter Julie took the picture of this architectural embellishment on a building along Grand Ave in St. Louis. I DIGITALLY added the clown climbing up the wall, inspired by the wonderful street art of OS GEMEOS. Http:/ www.lost.art.br/osgemeos 02.htm. Posted by JacqueLynn @ 9:09 AM. What a great idea! I really like it!
