Words, not werds
Words, not werds. Thursday, October 6, 2011. I am b ro k. Who ever said sticks and stones break bones but words can never hurt you didn't. My skin is still there. But the bones inside are crumbling from the lashes. That scream off your tongue as your face. The little piles the bones form. On the floor when you leave. I wonder about the five second rule. Musings about Philosophy
Saturday, March 22, 2008. Epistemic Closure, and KK. Epistemic Closure, at the least the single premise variety, is usually formulated like this:. EC) IF you know that P and you know that (if P, then Q), THEN you know or are at least in a position to know that Q. I find these sorts of counterexamples totally convincing. What can we do to save something like closure if we want to take the zebra intuition seriously? What's gone wrong with closure as it's stated. This sounds like a recipe for dogmatism....
