That Upcoming Earthquake | musingsandinsights
https://musingsandinsights.wordpress.com/2011/03/18/that-upcoming-earthquake
From conversations with the Master. In the Presence of my Sovereign →. Out from the Island. I read an e-mail last night from a good friend about some prophet’s recent prediction of the Japanese Tsunami and now that there would be a major earthquake in California this coming weekend. Unknown prophets and no seeming purpose …. Much more prophecy calls us to be who we ought; so little calls us to safety and personal comfort. Jesus calls us to his Mission, to the furtherance of his Kingdom. You are commentin...

Or we ignoring that there’s a far deeper context for prayer? Jesus taught the twelve to pray in the context of intimate relationship — they lived with him for 3 years after all! 8221; But what if I just quieted myself and waited until. Said, “Now. Ready to hear from. Let him invite me. The Lord is sovereign, but he’s also very good, o...

From conversations with the Master. Monthly Archives: November 2011. Blessed are the Poor in Spirit. Out from the Island. I was sitting between a young man from Costa Rica and a good friend of mine. There was some discussion of a soccer team in Costa Rica being actually owned by a rich man from Mexico, a foreigner. The young … Continue reading →. The Importance of Meta-Narratives. From conversations with the Master. Monthly Archives: March 2011. In the Presence of my Sovereign. Out from the Island. I used to see prayer as this big thing on my part — a thing to struggle to do correctly and thoroughly. We’ve all heard explanations of prayer, some pointing back to the Lord’s prayer model for the disciples. We’ve … Continue reading →. Out from the Island. The Importance of Meta-Narratives. CHIKANISMS | Food Stories – Travel Adventures – Life Lessons – A Girl on ReMISSION
Food Stories – Travel Adventures – Life Lessons – A Girl on ReMISSION. December 3, 2014. December 3, 2014. I have wondered long and hard why we broke up. It was painful and frightening but necessary though I did not have the wits about me to realize at the time. Our timing was off, or so they say. We were far too different, a given I did not freely accept. I wanted to go on, but you did not. And that was where we parted ways. 8211; Inspired by (500) Days of Summer. November 9, 2014. For aught that I could ever read, could ever hear by tale or history, the course of true love never did run smooth. William Shakespeare, "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Saturday, 15 December 2007. What heaven would be like. Then he lay still. Heaven to be like. Before. me. ". That feeling of it all. In the soft darkness. Smelt first the sweetness. And felt its dewey blades. Tickle his bare feet. Is real, felt.

Life decided it was time for us to change it up…. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. August 8, 2012. Customer service is hard work and often feels thankless. We all complain about bad service, and we all can think of stories off the top of our head demonstrating it. Musings and Leanings
Thursday, 14 July 2011. When we were told back at Christmas that Janine’s treatment would last six months, I wasn’t sure that could be right. Surely three to four cycles of chemotherapy couldn’t take that long when they were every three weeks. But here we are six months later and with the treatment only just finished. Not that we can complain as the treatment has done what it was intended to do and the scan Janine had last week showed that she is still in remission. Where does faith come into all this?
