doctor mcbeth: January 2010
http://stinerbean23.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Hey there Right Brain, remember me? When I was a sophomore in high school, I signed up to take Drawing 101 but when I found out that you needed Art 101 as a pre-requisite, as the ultimate rule-follower, I dropped it. I felt that AP Biology would be more practical (good thing, that's where I met Natalie Fisher! And to determine angles correctly (oh of course, just think of it as a clock rather than guessing! doctor mcbeth: And I love my palatial digs.
http://stinerbean23.blogspot.com/2010/08/and-i-love-my-palatial-digs.html
Tuesday, August 3, 2010. And I love my palatial digs. So if science doesn't work out, I could pursue a career as an interior decorator a la Doris Day in "Pillow Talk" but the problem is that I only have one style- -mine. And, I'm not sure how transferrable it is. I'm guessing not so much. At any rate, I wanted a little bit of Seattle in my home in Boston so I promptly got rid of the purulent med school scrubs green:. doctor mcbeth: I LOVE MY JOB!!!
http://stinerbean23.blogspot.com/2010/08/i-love-my-job.html
Monday, August 2, 2010. I LOVE MY JOB! Okay, this is basically to point out that life is wonderful. Even if you spent a lot of years moving around microscopic amounts of liquid from tube to tube and jostling bits of atoms around on a computer screen and got to the point where you realized that you should have just skipped straight to Montana without passing GO! And this photo, this is my neighborhood. I'm four blocks from the monument on Bunker Hill and seven or eight from the USS Constitution. On a soft...

Friday, October 16, 2009. Back in Seattle Again. Sing with me now (make sure it's twangy), "I'm back in Seattle again, out where a friend is a friend, where the proteins feed, on the lowly research needs, back in Seattle again. I'm riding the bus once more, totin' my rain boots to my chores, where I sleep in lab some nights, but for once EVERYTHING is right! Posted by Christine McBeth. Tuesday, October 6, 2009. London would like to wish you a very happy birthday! It was time to get off to St. Paul's ...

http://stinerbean23.blogspot.com/2010/07/on-road-again.html
Thursday, July 15, 2010. On the road again! Here's me outside North Dakota. Turns out, this is home of the famous song "Home on the Range". Where not only the deer and the antelope play, but also apparently giant rat alligators. Ratalligators? No wonder Teddy Roosevelt (best prez ever! Was so ready to shoot big things in Africa (not the best practice). He'd been fighting off these at his ranch! While outside Minneapolis, and boy I wish I had a picture, we hit construction. Which was hot and tarry but...

Saturday, August 7, 2010. Straight outta Cape Cod we're keepin' it whale. Here's a really bad picture of a whale. We did see a couple of tails come out and of course you can see 'em down in the water . . . but no, we didn't see any of them jump into the air. Hopefully next time. Posted by Christine McBeth. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. But, they were heavenly delish and gave us more than enough energy to paint our faces and scream for CABJ! Huge thanks to Tomas for picking up the tix and to Boca for agreeing to get paid outrageous sums of money to entertain some Americans . . . and be so obliging as to not try at all against the Sounders so that the Sounders Band could play "Uprising" by MUSE so that Megan and I could dance all the way off the pitch and into crowds outside.
