Musings From The Nostalgic Kitchen: April 2013

http://musingsfromthenostalgickitchen.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 17 April 2013. You know you are getting old when. Hello readers.Mrs Nostalgic is feeling old! I was having a little chuckle to myself yesterday as I was thinking what the young me would say to the old me now! I was thinking how I've changed and there are a few key traits that prove I'm aging. You know you are getting old when. You start bird watching! When you were young you didn't care if it dried outside or in as long as you didn't have to do it frankly! I also have line envy! I need help I k...

http://musingsfromthenostalgickitchen.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 31 July 2013. Mrs Nostalgic feels all Nostalgic! I have been quite naughty and not written a blog post for a good few weeks as I have been getting on top of everything at home with poorly dogs, a farmer husband that works all hours and a house that is full to the ceiling with vintage treasures to sell! I have cleared the route now to my retro bar so I am making good progress! Page) We climbed in my van and went off to sunny Lutterworth in Leicestershire! Subscribe to: Posts ( Atom ).

Musings From The Nostalgic Kitchen: The Nostalgic Scullery

http://musingsfromthenostalgickitchen.blogspot.com/2014/02/the-nostalgic-scullery.html

Wednesday, 5 February 2014. The Nostalgic Scullery has arrived at Kibworth Antiques Centre and is jam packed with treasures for all our existing Nostalgic Kitchen fans. In contrast with the bright 1950's colours of The Nostalgic Kitchen, The Nostalgic Scullery has older items dating from 1910 that have earthy colours and a real rustic feeling. We have a lovely cast iron stove backing on to brick wallpapered wall. The Nostalgic Scullery and The Nostalgic Kitchen are open now at Kibworth Antiques Centre,.

Musings from the Mothership

Musings from the Mothership. Friday, 12 September 2014. No sleep til Brooklyn. I've been motionless for a full fifteen minutes, propped up on my pillows, my baby asleep face down on my chest. It's 3am and this particular night feed has spanned two and a half episodes of Mad Men. I'm feeling the tiredness in my marrow. I reach over and remove the hot water bottle from her bedding. Slowly and oh so very carefully I start to roll to my left so that the arm cradling her rests on the bed next to me. There&#82...

musingsfromthemug | Just another WordPress.com site

Just another WordPress.com site. Today starts my favorite time of the year. Yes, that is right I absolutely love Christmas. I worked in the malls for 15 years and from the beginning I had a blast. It is rough on a lot of retail stores trying to make the numbers and I understand that and do not hold it against anyone that does not like this time of the year working in retail. When I discovered this the fun really started for me. I would see more people in my stores talking to total strangers. By k...I hop...

Musings from the Outskirts of Cognition

Musings from the Outskirts of Cognition. Monday, January 11, 2010. Monday, January 26, 2009. Cursed Journey to the end! How can you tell the difference between a curse and a blessing? This life is a journey, however long or short, towards whatever comes next. When it ends we would all like to be in the best position possible. Whether you believe in blessings or curses or both (personally I'm in the blessings category). How can you possibly determine which is which. It's their fault, not mine. The Irrespo...

musings from the pastor's study

Musings from the pastor's study. Saturday, January 10, 2015. THE POPE AND THE CARDINALS. 8220;What are cardinals in the Catholic Church? 8221; is a question I am often asked, especially when the Pope gets ready to name new ones. So here goes a modified answer to the way I used to reply…. Cardinals are simply bishops or archbishops who have the additional responsibility of gathering to elect a new pope. Who becomes a “cardinal”? Examples of the former would include Milan, Madrid, Vienna, or Paris. His new...
