Musings From The Pond. Pictures and words from my little corner of the world. Sunday, March 8, 2009. So I leave a reflection of my own; of the rain and street lamps reflected in the puddles on the sidewalk. Musings From The Pond. Pictures and words from my little corner of the world. Saturday, March 21, 2009. Just Me and My Shadow. For this week's contribution to Shadow Shot Sunday , I've got a shadowy self portrait with my favourite snowshoes, photographed with the aid of a wireless remote and tripod (which in my case means that the shot was taken with a film camera). This special day for us mamas came in mellow, not like the song lyric “mellow yellow” but more like the mellowness of a fine red wine which fills you with the warmth and flavor fullness of the sun, soil and grapes from which it is made. I will, boys, I will. May 12, 2012. Yesterday, I was listening to reporter Allison ...
