Our old kitchen table was bought pre-marriage at the Salvation Army and then painted to be pretty. For the two of us it was ok, but it's gotten smaller and smaller recently. December 26, 2010. We had a great Thanksgiving holiday. The boys both had all week off of school, so I got my work finished Monday morning and we headed to Artesia. NM at lunch. The kids were so excited to be at Pappy and Grammy's. House We had a nice relaxing couple of days with them. We hung out, went to the movies, and just chilled. It was nice. The kids playing in the club house. Lee decided my boys needed BB guns. Ryland. Had a good time learning to shoot. Guarantee a tea party while at Grammy's.

Wednesday, May 4, 2011. My feet hung out of the window, the bottoms reflected in the side mirror. You could tell I had been walking barefoot at the rest stops. My toes were painted purple with green and blue glitter on top. The sun made them glimmer; made the polish look new. My toe ring was dusty, but the sun managed to make that look new too. We had been driving for hours fleeing the place I called Hell. My eyes were wrinkled and jaded. Maybe they could make me look new too. I watched it as I wept.
