Musings on Beer
Not recommending, but asking. Have you tried any watermelon flavored beers? I really like Wild Blue but I want to expand to other flavors. I like a fruity taste. Do you have any recommendations? I’ve had one watermelon-flavored beer thus far in my beer drinking career. That was the Watermelon Ale from the Hooker Brewing Company. You can find my review here. I don’t believe I’ve had Wild Blue before, but I know I’ve had better luck with blueberry beers before. Posted 3 years ago. Posted 3 years ago. In ce...

Musings on Beer: June 2012
http://www.musingsonbeer.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
An irregular beer blog, by Brian Masi. Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Stone Brewing Company - Bottleworks 13th Anniversary Ale. 750mL bottle, poured into a stemmed water glass. Smooth smokiness on the finish beckons another sip along with the dry hoppy finish. Light mineral water characteristics play in at the end and lead effortlessly to the long-lasting dank hoppiness of the aftertaste. This beer is excellent, highly drinkable, and very, very good, but the 13 by 13 grain and hop bill seems stuntish when tak...
Musings on Beer: February 2012
http://www.musingsonbeer.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
An irregular beer blog, by Brian Masi. Monday, February 20, 2012. Innis and Gunn - Oak Aged Beer. Received as a gift, thanks! 330ml bottle, poured into a branded glass. Vanilla and oak dominate the palate. Malts are strong and singular, but are overtaken by the tremendous barrel age character. The impact of the aging vessel absolutely defines the beer, pushing out almost every other flavor. The beer is aged only 77 days in oak, so it is surprising that the impact is so dramatic. Simplicity
Wednesday, November 12, 2014. When I felt myself beginning to spiral, it was like being on the edge of a cliff. Teetering on the edge of a cliff. Screaming inside for help. I prayed that God would save me. You don't know the half of it. It's like someone punched a hole in my chest, inserted a black hole and turned up the juice. There was nothing left. Or at least that was what I thought. Here was my thought train - I'm so screwed up - How did I get here? Have I ever loved him? Do I love him now? I shared...

Biblical Musings | Just another WordPress.com site
Just another WordPress.com site. Macro vs micro works of God. September 30, 2012. Macro: earth/big bang / nation or natural disaster type of scale. Micro: people’s lives, individual balance of humanity, person vs nation. Where does the control lie? If God is the architect, he has control over the design, the start and the finish, and the important bits in the middle. So, time, the Big Bang, the end of times. The Macro scale things. If God is the foreman, he has control. So which is it? August 19, 2012.
