A Summer Blessed by Intentionality. The work of forgiveness. August 29, 2011. To believe I am saved, utterly and completely, but get hung up on this one mistake? Listening to the script in my head, I torture myself with falsehoods: I am unforgivable, I am unlovable, I am forgotten. Jesus understands when we are rooted in sin that we cannot do the job of forgiveness on our own. I cannot forgive, myself or others, until I understand His work of forgiveness in my life.
