Thursday, September 4, 2014. Life here in Astoria goes like this:. Play at the beach. enjoy beautiful weather. Stare at the beautiful view from our back deck. Enjoy the wildlife that have no fear. Give Dad very big hugs when we actually get to see him. Check out the local historic sites. Visit the docks. and in this case the horde of sea lions living there. Visit the Maritime museum and pretend to shoot down planes with your dad. Tour a Coast Guard Ship. Play at the parks. But other than that.

Tuesday, April 30, 2013. While Elaine was here, and unrelated to our birthdays, we made a trip out to the coast. Because we can now, and that is just spectacular. We visited the Tillimook cheese factory, Blue Heron Cheese Factory, the ocean, and the Cape Mears Lighthouse. Que photo reel. Driving in the car. Blue Heron had a petting zoo and tons of farm equipment for the kids to climb on. I mean to look at. The progression of Everett at the beach. This job is getting tough. time to roll up the sleeves.

Monday, May 13, 2013. 5 months and a new skill. This little gem is now 5 month old. I love it! Newborns are cute but I love when they become aware and more capable. Shelby sleeps through the night 10-7ish, LOVES eating food, and has gobbled up everything I have given her thus far; she also surprised me with her ability to suck out of a straw on her first attempt. Thursday, September 4, 2014. 1st Day of School. Daylin had her first day of Kindergarten. She was a bit apprehensive about it, but is warming up quickly. I know she will love it and do very well. She was especially excited to ride the bus, and this was actually the most nerve racking part for me. On a bus with older kids, no neighborhood friends for 30 minutes. but she says she loved it. Fingers crossed. Life here in Astoria goes like this:. Play at the beach. enjoy beautiful weather. Play at the parks.

Tuesday, June 4, 2013. A cousin of mine got married this month and we were able to visit the Portland Temple for the event. It is a beautiful place, and the kids had a lot of fun.
