Friday, December 19, 2008. All I want for Christmas is.a healthy family! Monday I came down with some kind of vicious stomach bug.perhaps the same one MG had. Vicious is not an exaggeration. I seriously thought I was going to die. At one point I literally thought - "Just let me lay here and drown in the toilet water I just got sick in. PLEASE! Then I got a tap, tap, tap at my shoulder. It was Mariah smiling "Mommy - you make me so happy. You got sick in the toilet. Good job Mommy! My daughter is precious!

Wednesday, October 15, 2008. So we celebrated Mariah's third birthday this past Saturday. With the passing of Scott's Mom on Tuesday, it was bittersweet. Scott and I decided to proceed with the party as that is what we felt Marianne (Scott's mom) would have wanted us to do. It served as a good distraction and offered all of us some much needed smiles and laughter! From the tumble bus to a visit from Snow White herself, we have memories that will last forever! Monday, October 27, 2008. My angelic daughter told me on Friday that I was her best friend. I think my heart literally melted. I didn't even know she knew how to say 'Best Friend.' Can she be anymore adorable? Thanks to my parents, I have been reminded time and time again to treasure these moments for they do grow up to become teenagers and their view on your relationship changes!
