Friday, March 29, 2013. So the readers of Lorelei's Blog (http:/ lorelei1141.blogspot.com/) were issued a challenge.create something with these resin bubble slider bars available at Michael's Craft Stores in teal. I accepted the challenge for several different reasons. I don't use slider bars, I don't do resin, and I wanted to stretch my artistic muscles in a new direction. tulips and pine: Flower Baubles Necklace
http://tulipsandpine.blogspot.com/2013/03/flower-baubles-necklace.html
I purchased the package, brought it home and began playing with it. This necklace was super fast to put together and I like how it came out. I used crimp beads to keep everything in its place and attached a lobster clasp and jump rings to finish it off. For the challenge and I look forward to seeing everyone's creations. Don't you just love these little globes? Amazing how from the side. They are clear but from the top, the color shows through. A close up of these beauties. Coming soon to my etsy store.

Lorelei’s Resin Bauble Slider Challenge and Blog Hop. March 29, 2013. Lorelei Eurto sent out a challenge, to anyone who wanted to participate, to use some resin bauble sliders in a project and blog about it today. I was intrigued by the concept and headed to my local Michael’s to see if they had any. I was lucky enough to find some on sale! I played with various configurations. So, I decided to go structural and see what grew. Here are all the other participants:. Beads for Busy Gals. Thanks, Lily. I...
