Saturday, December 24, 2011. The other day, I was asked who I'd invite to my ideal dinner party. Yup, that old chestnut. I couldn't really think of single living 'celebrity' I wanted to have along! Just dear friends and interesting dead people. :/. Anyways, top of my list of interesting dead people has to be CS Lewis. When I read his little essay on the tyranny of Christmas today, I felt thoroughly justified in my decision to not send cards or gifts this year. Why, better for nothing than for a nuisance.

I thought that it was a good production in that the storyline was kept simple, the characters sufficiently engaging, and it was obvious the children enjoyed the programme.
