http://muthaknitter.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
New mother, new knitter, new attitude. Now with new weaving! Tuesday, December 25, 2007. I hope everyone out there has a wonderful holiday season. After a bright Hanukkah, and a sweet Christmas, I wanted to give thanks for everything I have. In the new year, I hope to get back to blogging regularly and share all the knitting, kid and cool stuff that I can. Wednesday, December 12, 2007. I Can't See the Stars. I need a break. So my apologies for not blogging. There has been knitting occurring. Mayb...Subsc...

muthaknitter: September 2009
http://muthaknitter.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
New mother, new knitter, new attitude. Now with new weaving! Wednesday, September 30, 2009. It Might Take 4 Years. But I finally got it! You see, after I first started knitting in November 2005, a slightly crazed new mother in a very crazy new city, the Cap'n bought my first knitting book for Hanukkah: Scarf Style. At the Brooklyn General Store. Near the Cap'n's sister. And now, I am the Scarf Style cover girl I was born to be! Let's hope the sweater on the needles doesn't take that long. Ahem. This has ...

New mother, new knitter, new attitude. Now with new weaving! Saturday, January 26, 2013. Ive lost my hat. Drat. So over fall finals, I did some wonderful procrastinating by making a watch cap in a brioche stitch. The pattern. Is called Charity Watch Cap, but shouldn't true charity start at home? Besides, my ears were cold. It worked great on vacation at the AMC Joe Dodge Lodge. In NH, but now I can't find it. I have a little of the yarn. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Delayed, but maybe thats okay.
muthaknitter: My corner of the world
http://muthaknitter.blogspot.com/2013/02/my-corner-of-world.html
New mother, new knitter, new attitude. Now with new weaving! Monday, February 25, 2013. My corner of the world. So the almost sweater is looking almost like a sweater again, and the Lion is happy this time that it might actually fit him. Also a funny note: Slim says things are "superiorily" awesome nowadays. Too funny. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). New mother, new knitter, new attitude. Now with new weaving! My corner of the world. Noro in the Wild. View my complete profile.

Crafty Caroline: Flower Pots
http://crafty-caroline.blogspot.com/2010/10/flower-pots.html
Saturday, October 02, 2010. Over a year ago, I took a few applique classes at Cloth and Bobbin. The class was based on Kim McLean's Flower Pots quilt. And I was inspired by the pattern to use tons of Kaffe Fassett. Fabrics. The quilt is huge, and before I got started I could barely hand-sew so I had no illusions of finishing this quickly. My first block didn't take too long - I was on the road a lot, which meant tons of time for stitching. Plus, it was a new project, so that always is inspiring. Another ...

Sunday, December 07, 2008. Was in need of hats, so I made him this cool Vintage Racing Helmet from one of the Sublime books. It looks pretty awesome on him! It is knit using Filatura di Crosa Zara in Navy and Ivory, and matching booties are underway! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm a crafty mom of a little boy. He keeps us busy! Lady Knitterly: 09.2006
http://ladyknitterly.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Rightly reminded me that I did indeed throw down the gauntlet in the form of a sweater completing challange - my Salina versus her, um (sorry Ginny, I can't seem to find what your sweater is called.). Now bear in mind that I was confident, even though hers was mostly completed and mine had only one piece done. I was making such good progress! Well, since then I have basically not worked on Salina at all. Nope, not at all. (I worked 40 rows of the front today though! Anyway, yes, I love. Which I chose not...
Crafty Caroline: November 2008
http://crafty-caroline.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 29, 2008. A Trip Around the World. A year ago this week, I was leaving on a trip around the world. To Germany, The Netherlands and China. When I came home, we found out I was pregnant. So it seems fitting that right before Ari was born, I finished a Trip Around the World quilt. I'm still working on piecing the back of the quilt using the scraps from the quilt-top. Think we'll be sending this out for quilting and then it'll be off to our goddaughter Lucy! Crafty Caroline: September 2010
http://crafty-caroline.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 26, 2010. So its been a while. I've been known to go a while between posts. A couple of months isn't the rarest thing. But almost two years is quite a hiatus. Lets face it - being a working mommy hardly leaves me time to do the dishes. But there has been some crafting to be had over the past few years, so it makes sense to share what I've been doing. I've determined that spinning is just not for me. So I'm going to sell my spinning wheel. Oh, and we're having another baby in January!

Crafty Caroline: patience is a virtue
http://crafty-caroline.blogspot.com/2008/07/patience-is-virtue.html
Saturday, July 26, 2008. Patience is a virtue. The thing about false alarms when you're getting ready to have a baby is that once you have one, you're ready for the real thing. At least, I am. On Thursday night we went to the hospital for what seemed like it could be the real deal. If I had listened a bit more to Christina. Our fantastic Doula, perhaps I would have stayed home, which is were we returned by 12:30am. The good news is that we now know how to find Labor and Delivery at Lankenau. But it is go...
Crafty Caroline: And She's Off!
http://crafty-caroline.blogspot.com/2007/11/and-shes-off.html
Friday, November 23, 2007. So the proposed packing list included the Clapotis, which is coming along quite nicely, and a sparkly scarf in a really cool silk yarn that has sequins in it, as well as some yarn to start some socks, and a hat I was thinking about. But is probably a lot. So there will be few (if any) posts over the next few weeks, but there should be a few good pics when I'm back. Can't wait to see the pictures when you return! I can't wait to see the knitting! View my complete profile. Floral...
Crafty Caroline: June 2008
http://crafty-caroline.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 30, 2008. The cutest thing ever. In a few weeks, check back on what I'm refering to as the the cutest thing ever. But until The Bean. Arrives, this little dress for Ally is topping the list. I was itching to make this pattern by Oliver S. And picked up the pattern and some super cute fabric from Johanna at Cloth and Bobbin. What I love about this pattern are all the little details such as the hem lining, the topstiching on the bodice, the contrasting bodice lining. Oh, and I just couldn't re...
