Caring for the Least of These in Uganda: Give them Eyes to See
http://ourheartfortheleastofthese.blogspot.com/2014/06/give-them-eyes-to-see.html
Caring for the Least of These in Uganda. Our journey as we serve God in Uganda. Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Give them Eyes to See. You don't, God does. You just plant the seeds, and let Him water them. Strenuous for control freaks. So I pray, and pray some more. That God would transform one, two, three, and then the whole community. I know it seems far fetched. I am a dreamer, I'll keep believing. To be on the street begging, women who used. To traffic their children, who used. To be spiritual impoverished.

Caring for the Least of These in Uganda. Our journey as we serve God in Uganda. Saturday, September 20, 2014. Why would a mother do that her child? Why do men find this okay? The flesh can make us do revolting, reviling things. Something has gone wrong with humanity, it is heinous, we are heinous. I will never look at a rainbow the same. The morning I went to get E out of Kisenji the song Kings and Queens by Audio Adrenaline came on:. Little hands, shoeless feet, lonely eyes looking back at me. Forgive m...

Caring for the Least of These in Uganda. Our journey as we serve God in Uganda. Sunday, May 4, 2014. Instead of just serving where God has me. Here is my new perspective. Another whispering came last Friday when I saw the response of the children with Briana. They wait for her with gleams in their eyes. They love her, and she loves them. Will they learn Calculus? Not while we are there. Will they even learn fractions? Now for the fun part of sitting back and watching Him work! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Another World: August 2010
http://nigelharding.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Seeing the world through Different Eyes. Friday, 13 August 2010. Emmauel Demands Soul Ownership. A fascinating extract follows from John Bunyan’s book, The Holy War. Published in 1682 when he was 54. Bunyan was inspired to write it from his experiences of battle as a young man, and his twelve years of unjust imprisonment for preaching the Gospel publicly. He wrote many allegories; most famously Pilgrim’s Progress. I love the Biblical accuracy of this book and its relevance even today. Then said the golde...

Seeing the world through Different Eyes. Saturday, 28 November 2009. What's in a name? We have just encountered the celebration of a special season for those of a certain faith here in Uganda. One might initially think that I am talking about America’s Thanksgiving season, which has just passed and is often viewed synonymously with what God has done for a nation. What is the difference between the two sons of Abraham? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Nigel spent half his childhood in Engla...

Seeing the world through Different Eyes. Saturday, 12 September 2009. It is much more peaceful in Kampala today, since the Kabaka (King), Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, decided against his preferred intention, to go to Kayunga. He has only postponed, not cancelled his planned visit. So, what did cause the recent eruption of violence in the city of Kampala? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
