A account of the voyages of Summertime. Find out where we are! Thursday, March 3, 2011. Moved up the Keys to islamorada. Our friend Jeff Gibson (Our Insurance Agent) came down for a night with Michelle we all went out to Sloppy Joes after we watched sunset at Mallory Square. We had a good time sitting by some girls from Pensacola. Karen and Michelle went upon the stage with the band dancing several times. We went to Miami for a weekend to see the Miami Boat Show. They claim it is the biggest boat.

A account of the voyages of Summertime. Find out where we are! Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Man did we like Houma had my cousin Judy and her husband Terry visit on Friday. Wish I would have met him a long time ago. We had a lot in common. My son Chris and Kerry came down Saturday, they took some people we had met on a 30' cat to return one of those portable a/c unites. Then took Karen and I grocery shopping. Saw some old river boats and casino boats. Lots of commercial boats up close to the Harvey Locks.

We went to see the Shipwreck Museum and I took this picture for Mike Fairbanks who had told me that his family owned a scale company. This pic is from the tower on top of the Shipwreck Museum once used to spot ship wrecks. Key West was once the richest city in America due to the Salvaging of ship wrecks. We all headed out around 8:15 AM with S/V Faith as our lead boat for the day, to arrive at our first bridge opening after the blackout period was over at 8:30 AM.
