Abez and Aniraz's Momma, and she rules! Sunday, February 01, 2004. Well, Eid Moo-baaaa-rik to one and all. The Moslem majority of the family is celebrating Eid of the Sacrafice. It was Sunday, my sabath, but I made some adjustments to join the festivities. I left Church early, after attending only 2/3 of my meetings, stopped at Jewel and bought a Elmo balloon for my 2 year old grandson. I wanted him to have something fun, since cash Eidie is meaningless to a 2 year old. Wishing you all the joys of Eid, f...

Abez and Aniraz's Momma, and she rules! Thursday, February 26, 2004. I live in an Anti-blog home, so I must post the stealth blog. But, I can't blog under such pressure, not the mention that I needa go and the pottyroom is occupied. The brain likes to think it is in charge, but really the other body parts are co-rulers of the body. Now I think headaches are the best the brain can do to complain. This blog is a perfect example of quality, not quantity. Posted by Carol @ 8:30 AM. Next: Welcome Li'll Gray C...

Abez and Aniraz's Momma, and she rules! Monday, January 05, 2004. Happy New Year to all family, friends, and fans in blogistan. (As if wishing them a happy New Year would make them real.) As every holiday, this one was a blend of east and west, Christian and Islamic as I try to interpret the traditions I received from my culture to pass on to my mixed religion and mixed culture family. Abez and Aniraz's Momma, and she rules! Tuesday, February 17, 2004. Heres my side of the story of how a Mormon woman from Indiana stayed married to a Muslim man from Pakistan for 27 years, and raised a family that turned out okay. Dont use the comment box, I can't get into it, use the tag board. Thanks. I have tried to live as true to my faith as possible, knowing. A) I am responsible for my own salvation,. B) I can't lead them to the truth, if I'm not living the truth in my own life,. E) even if they do...

Abez and Aniraz's Momma, and she rules! Saturday, January 24, 2004. Well, I've had my new job for three weeks now. I'm working at a Christian bookstore, specifically a Mormon bookstore. Here are some of the highlights of the job. Funny Considence: I was carrying a copy of "Mormon Doctrine" by Mc Conkie to the computer to do a search for a customer who wanted the book in Spanish, in walks another customer and asks, "Do you have Mormon Doctrine by Mc Conkie? Biggest goof-up: Today I got confused about the ...

Abez and Aniraz's Momma, and she rules! Saturday, March 06, 2004. Wow, this is weird. I've been home alone for hours. It's so strange not to be surrounded by people and crying babies, and general madness, I hardly know what to do with all this peace and quiet. I've been a good momma and shut off the tele and done some reading, another Robert Millet book, this one "Lost and Found"-Reflections on the Prodigal Son. God is so very kind, I hardly know the words to thank Him. Posted by Carol @ 8:19 PM. A peek ...

Abez and Aniraz's Momma, and she rules! Sunday, January 11, 2004. I hope I can get this post done, just inches from my elbow is a tired and angry 2 year old computer junkie loudly whining."PBS Kids internet, please.". My mother lives on junk food and chocolate and is healthier than 90% of the people her age. If you cut her, she would bleed chocolate syrup. Posted by Carol @ 9:24 PM. Abez and Aniraz's Momma, and she rules! Thursday, March 11, 2004. Well, Spring has a head cold! The past couple of days have been blustery and cold, but today was even worse. It's supposed to hit 15f tonight. That's below freezing! I hope our spring flowers that are peeking out of the ground have anti-freeze in their veins. I'm switching back to my winter coat tomorrow. Isn't that a great quote? Anyway, that's my Momma wisdom for the day. Horror of horrors: Tough and chewy Peeps! Have a great day, Peace.

Abez and Aniraz's Momma, and she rules! Wednesday, March 17, 2004. Happy Saint Patty's to you all. I'm not a real Irish-person, but one of those many generations of mixed mongrul American Irish, but still I wish you a happy day and a great Spring. I hadn't had a McD's shake since I left the country in '01. I ordered a large and was shocked by 1) it's huge size and 2) it's huge cost, nearly $3.00! Then on Saturday, I drove to McD's to get our work lunch and brought back shakes for everyone (company money)!
