Sunday, February 22, 2009. Living on the Contribution Side. On Friday, I had a little issue. Big wind storm. Cable out, internet out, phone out. Followed the maze of my provider's complicated customer service system only to find out that the problem was not with them, but with me. Turns out I had a surge, knocking out the power to the main box. Well, you wouldn't want to pay the emergency rate." (Her tone said, "Only idiots would pay that."). Worth it to me. For some reason this makes me so happy! Maybe because it's a little unique. On another note, do other parents have trouble getting through a meal without talking about something disgusting? I have decided that I should not let laziness take over me, so I'm giving this another go. Anyway, I have never experienced this kind of coupon heaven, but in my head it is almost as satisfying as sex. So, today, armed with my arsenal of coupons I headed to the store on triple coupon day, and I wanted to call every person I knew when I got my receipt. I SAVED $99!
