Monday, September 16, 2013. A Surprise For Emma. Apparently Emma's prayers were heard and answered because on August 20th, I took a pregnancy test, and it was positive: 2 lines! To surprise Stephen, I had her hand him the test and tell him that this stick meant that he was a good daddy.haha! At that time, we were not telling Emma. Tuesday, March 6, 2012. My Baby Loves Her Babies. At this moment, Emma's playroom looks like a hurricane has gone through it. There is an assortment of baby accessories, baby highchairs, strollers, and most importantly a litter of naked babies. Emma is in love with all things baby. She loves to rock them, hug them, feed them, kiss them, etc. It is so precious! What I can't figure out is why all the babies are always undressed. Ha! Am I spending enough quality time with her? Will she resent me for working?

Friday, June 21, 2013. Bittersweet: A Sad Day and a Happy Day. She paused for a few seconds and then responded with, "Mommy, that's just like when Jesus died on the cross! It was a sad day AND a happy day! She has remembered the story we read at bedtime in her Jesus book (as she calls it), and made a connection! When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them " Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. We are blessed beyond measure!

Sunday, September 26, 2010. Mommy is super behind on posting your 2 month letter. In fact, you are already 3 months old, so that makes me super far behind. Life has been super crazy busy, but it is so much sweeter with you in it. Let's see, what happened in your 2nd month? Who knew one extra hour could make such a difference? I tried that, but it was too hard. With teaching and motherhood, I could not remember anything. I finally deciding to record things by month in my planner. Now I want to record them on my blog, so I can look back and reminisce. Says, "Dada" "Mama" and "Baba". Eats 2 baby food meals/day. Wears size 2 diapers. I am ...
