Mount Washington Valley History. Monday, January 26, 2015. New Hampshire's State Dog, the Chinook, has recently made a splash in the Mount Washington Valley. During our Winter Carnival this last weekend they were featured at the Conway Historical Society's Salyards Center through displays, films and a special meet and greet with about a dozen of the dogs themselves.
