The Schprock Report: Marathon Bombing
http://schprock-talk.blogspot.com/2013/04/marathon-bombing.html
Was Great Tasting, Now Less Filling. Tuesday, April 23, 2013. It's funny how a solitary man on plank engaged in such a solitary pursuit can be so plugged in to what was going on. All it took was a radio and proximity to an event. If the day wasn't so nice, I would have gone back to the office to catch up on some some work. But it was beautiful, so there I was later that afternoon, up on a plank listening to the radio and the sirens. Posted by mr. schprock at 10:21 AM. Beveridge D. Spenser. Anyway, Ive be...

The Schprock Report: October 2005
http://schprock-talk.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Was Great Tasting, Now Less Filling. Saturday, October 22, 2005. Well, it’s happened once again: the comments have outshone the post. I wish to thank everyone for their very thoughtful and heartfelt responses to my previous post on homelessness. Everyone had something to offer on this issue and I enjoyed reading them all. How this blog has ever attracted such insightful people I’ll never know, but no one’s ever accused me of turning away a good thing. Glad to have you all aboard. That was very strange...

The Schprock Report: November 2005
http://schprock-talk.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Was Great Tasting, Now Less Filling. Wednesday, November 30, 2005. It’s nearly 10:00am on a workday and I’m at home with my faithful cat by my side. The whole day stretches out before me like a blank canvas. I can do with it what I want. I can waste time or use it profitably it’s entirely up to me. What a country! Or That job has to go out today, you know. And then there’s: My, everyone seems so stressed today! Perhaps a bit more productivity would make things go smoother. Do you think they’d mind? But t...

The Schprock Report: Sylvia Plath
http://schprock-talk.blogspot.com/2012/09/sylvia-plath.html
Was Great Tasting, Now Less Filling. Tuesday, September 11, 2012. I just reread The Bell Jar. For the first time in thirty-plus (gasp! Years and then read Plath's biography in Wikipedia. I have to say this: Ted Hughes, the big shot Poet Laureate husband who left her and her two children for another woman is a very, very hard man to like. Yeah, I wasn't there, I didn't know what was going on, blah blah blah. I hate him. I asked one of my daughters if she ever had to read The Bell Jar. There Is No Spoon.

The Schprock Report: March 2005
http://schprock-talk.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Was Great Tasting, Now Less Filling. Thursday, March 31, 2005. Old, Scary Heads. Unusual is on those rare occasions when I sneak a glance and see the MUMMIFIED REMAINS OF WHAT MIGHT HAVE ONCE BEEN A PRETTY FACE! Nothing makes me jump out of my socks more than that! Name any scary movie you want: The Ring, Jaws, The Exorcist, White Chicks. None of them have that kind of impact. Women like this should have their own music: the pom-pom pom-pom pom-pom. Followed by the shriek! Tuesday, March 29, 2005. PROSEC...

The Schprock Report: August 2005
http://schprock-talk.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Was Great Tasting, Now Less Filling. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Wednesday, 4:30 PM, Martha’s Vineyard. At this moment I am seated on a park bench facing the Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting Association Tabernacle. It’s true, I really am. I bought a small notebook the other day and I’m scribbling away in it. Of course, later I’ll key this in in the old PowerBook and post it, but let’s consider this a live report, shall we? More fun that way. Shouldn’t it rhyme with something? Tuesday, August 30, 2005.

Mood Swings & Other Things: November 2005
http://gigglezngrinz.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Mood Swings and Other Things. Ramblings, Tantrums and Babblings of a Bi-Polar Mind. Tuesday, November 29, 2005. Good Things After the Bad. Each day has something to cherish, something positive. Some days you have to really look closely to find it, others it stares you in the face - or like today.it calls you on the phone at work. One of my best friends from high school will turn 40 in February. I know this because her brother called me to invite me to her bash. Posted by Gigglezngrinz at 8:04 PM. My daug...

The Schprock Report: A Public Challenge to All Actors and Storytellers
http://schprock-talk.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-public-challenge-to-all-actors-and.html
Was Great Tasting, Now Less Filling. Friday, September 20, 2013. A Public Challenge to All Actors and Storytellers. Anyway, I stopped writing these stories a long time ago because I got too busy. I had to start working weekends to pay the bills. But every now and again I like to go back and read these stories and, with the benefit of distance and experience, can now understand how they are all flawed and not the masterpieces I first took them to be. If I do have a favorite it's the one about the Tuttles.
