Amy Cliser's art journey. Chocolate Peeps and Neurobiological Generation. When There’s a Shark Swimming on Your Lawn →. Gravity, Love, and Standing Still. April 16, 2012. This is a set of conceptual equation and theorems that my intuition says is true:. If love = life = growth = change = motion, then love = motion. Motion (as it pertains to growth) can follow other motion or stillness. In the moment preceding motion, which may be stillness, lives possibility. Now I am standing still. You just took my exp...

Amy Cliser's art journey. New Collage: 4 of 5. Loving What’s New →. Big Trucks, Paint Colors, and Brushing the Back of My Hair. March 19, 2012. I couldn’t work on another canvas this weekend. I sat down, started to, and felt a little like I feel when I’ve eaten too much turkey. Like I don’t want another bite of turkey, until I do. Instead of more turkey/art canvases, I painted the walls. 8221; I think she meant to say. Have a great week, and shake it off a little. View all posts by Amy Cliser →. I’...

Amy Cliser's art journey. Gravity, Love, and Standing Still. It’s Been A Good, Long While →. When There’s a Shark Swimming on Your Lawn. November 27, 2012. It’s not easy. It’s spiritual reconstructive surgery. This shark that terrifies me, that doesn’t fit my definitions, becomes my friend. It opens me to what is possible in life, which in turn submerges me into a greater sense of grace and the fast-moving miracles coursing around me like so many cells of beating, breathing love. Amy Cliser's art journey. Monthly Archives: October 2011. October 21, 2011. Amy Cliser's art journey. Big Trucks, Paint Colors, and Brushing the Back of My Hair. Big Fat Mistake Sandwich →. Loving What’s New. April 1, 2012. Today is Sunday. New things are happening. It’s spring, so I am enjoying some biological impulse to clean. Boxes are empty, floors are scrubbed, walls are painted in shades of blues and greens, new white towels are hung in the bathroom, and I’m thinking of what planting I can do in the three-foot strip of soil outside my apartment door.
