January is a cold, but fun, month. View my complete profile. Saturday, January 22, 2011. January is a cold, but fun, month. We could only handle being in the house for so long. So we bundled up and headed out to the museum in early January. It was a cold day that even had some snow flurries. The dinosaurs, as always, were a big hit. Another day full of snow and ice. Well, mostly ice. Kimbo and Delany spent the morning cooked up a batch of 'Wendy's' chili. One guess on who put the baby doll in the swing.

We had a long visit from Nana Gail and Papa Wayne. There was a 4th of July Party at Grandma's and Papa T's. Cousin Caleb had his 6th birthday party filled with trampolines, swing sets, and putting greens. Finally, we a tried to cool off from this hellish heat in the pool. But first, a couple of videos that I don't think we've posted on here.

Tuesday, July 7, 2015. We went to Isle of Palms last week for 4 days with the youth of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. We had a great time relaxing and playing in the sand and in the waves. We were very lucky that we didn't have any shark encounters (although we were right down the beach when THIS KID. Was bitten by a shark.) YIKES! Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Marvelous Miriam (16 months). In September, Miriam turned 16 months old. She is becoming fiercely independent and showing development growth each and every day! Tuesday, December 3, 2013. We were so lucky to be able to spend this Thanksgiving with our friends down the street. We have grown very close to them, and it helps that our kiddos are best friends! Frankie and Ashleigh were born the exact same day (20 minutes apart and in two different states) and Miriam and Tyler are 2 weeks apart). It was so much fun planning our meal in advance, and then getting to spend the whole afternoon/evening with them! Seriously, don’t they look like they could be related?

Friday, October 31, 2014. Marvelous Miriam (17 months- October). I know I'm so slow posting all these monthly updates.but I'm mostly caught up! In October, Miriam turned 17 months old. She likes to do things on her own. But she is happiest when she is right beside her big sis. This child loves to dance! Her arms start flailing about and she turns around in circles! She loves to say, "Hey Daddy! Her new favorite sign is "all done.". However, she has no problem sleeping like THIS when Mommy is around.

Sunday, August 31, 2014. Marvelous Miriam (15 months). Let's rewind a little bit and go back to August when Miriam turned 15 months old). Well, this child is up and running (kind of). She is starting to walk faster now, and I'm sure she'll be running soon. She wants to try to keep up with sister! She is getting brave when she is outside. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. December Shenanigans (a random post). During Advent, we used the Truth in the Tinsel. Program. We really enjoyed doing that as a family. Each night, there was a small devotional to read and talk about together, and then the kiddos could make a craft or color an ornament.
