The body work is done and the car is in the paint booth! Friday, December 21, 2012. So its finally here, the paint is going on. let the 5 month crunch begin. The car has been blasted and primed. This is about bringing back the beauty of a 1972 bmw 2002. I always wanted a roudie and finally got one. Will be a 90% restoration, including paint ,interior and many little things. They are very addictive little cars. Friday, April 13, 2007. Ok I knew from the moment I got the car, that the carb wasn`t right. The car didn`t feel crisp it ran ok and it started right up but it wasn`t right. Also the gas consumption seem high, at under 20 mpg. Ok I go online again and go directly to TEP. Links to this post.
