I picked up some red heart mylar balloons and decorated the house for the kids, made heart cupcakes, made little goodie bags. We had heart shaped pancakes for breakfast, heart shaped pizza for dinner (lovingly made by Dan). However, the highlight of the evening was the balloon races:. And so the story goes. It's been very cold here in Chicago - VERY COLD. Temperatures were in the single digits for highs and below zero for lows! So, we've had to become a little creative in how we burn some energy out of the kids so they're not constantly bickering and fighting with one another (and us! I think God is trying to see how dedicated we are to Him, placing lots of obstacles in our way to get to church.
