Tuesday, April 5, 2011. 5 weeks post op! Yesterday I went down a flight of stairs, and then back up, and her is the catch - WITH NO PAIN! I am still wearing my very expensive, very large knee brace, but since my swelling s gone, it slides down to my ankles and ges incredibly annoying. So most of the time at home or at work I take it off. I religiously wear it outside and at the barn though, I just crank the straps as tight as i can. All in all, I am doing FABULOUS! Monday, March 28, 2011. One Month Post ACL Recunstruction! Tomorrow is the one month mile stone! I am feeling fantastic! Honestly, I feel better now than ever! At Physical Therapy, I spun for ten minutes (and that may not seem like a lot, but trust me, its awsome! I am now walking great with no pain what so ever. And, they told me today that in 2 - 4 weeks, I'll be able to ditch this huge nasty $800 brace for a smaller sports brace! So at least that is some good news :). Why rape me for all I have? But i...

Friday, November 5, 2010. Had doctor appointment today (i.e. middle of 6th week). My Physical trainer has given a note with all her observations with regards to my rhabilitation. Monday, January 21, 2008. I have started to make real progress today:. I can lift my leg off the ground, i.e. my hips are activated. I can then quad extend about 15 degrees, so my quads are slightly activated. I can ham curl about 30 degrees. And I can walk without crutches in a straight line! Saturday, April 30, 2011. 2 moonths post op, and I am doing fantastic! Last weekend, I rode a trail ride, and Iwas so sore on my inner thighs! It hurt so GOOD! Out of the woods!

Physio consists of lots of leg squats, lunges etc. Have been meaning to get to the gym to start lifting weights to build up my hamstring and quad muscles, but work has gotten in the way – and i’ve gotten a little lazy to be honest!
