This is Erudite Travel.and I'm that girl. Monday, November 26, 2007. The Jensen Family Thanksgiving Day Parade. Taking the red eye flight from SLC to New York was not my brightest idea. That meant I arrived at my sister's place in the city at 7:30 am with NO sleep, and the parade started in an hour. Nap time? My family decided to get to the parade ASAP! We did not get the trampoline down for the winter yet so the kids took this opportunity. To tie plastic bags on there feet and have some slip, sliding fun. Jason loves soda. There was a little in the bottom and I handed the jug to him and he said, with a look of shock, I can drink it out of the bottle? Sure He thought that was so cool. We are ready for our first winter. As soon as the sun came through the front windows, so did a herd of probably 100-200 lady bugs. Literally! They were crawling ALL over the windows and the walls, inside and out. I have no idea where they came from, but they were EVERYWHERE within minutes. I just laughed and kept doing what I was doing, and my friend squeamishly commented, "wow, you and Micah sure are farmgirls, eh?
