Would anyone ever want to go out with a person in a chair, too weak to hold the door open for her, too weak to even hold her hand? Would he ever go to prom? Would he live long enough to graduate from college? And if he did, what kind of life would he have when he would be dependant on a machine to breathe for him? And at the movies?

Should I have known something was wrong then? I guess I will never know. Its funny because the other day, Chufeng asked me if I would still love him the same after the baby is born. My reply to him was, of course I would love them all the same. Chufeng does not know the elasticity of a mother’s heart and her love for her children.
