I'm Jo Avery, and this blog is all about sharing the things I make. My sister, Jane, taught me to sew when I was 6 years old (a squirrel made out of our old curtains), and I spent a large part of my childhood making toys, knitting, and from the age of 10, English paper piecing with hexagons (though I just called it patchwork then! 2013 A Lovely Year of Finishes. Union Jack Block tutorial. Thursday, 3 October 2013. New Quilt News and Link Up. I've started on a new quilt. It was definitely time to use the gorgeous rainbow charms from the Fluffy Sheep charm swap. My Aunt asked if I could make her a bigger quilt and she loves colour, so I thought it could make the perfect combination. There were 8 colour groups in the rainbow swap, so I also used charms from the text swap to make up a simple 9-patch. This is as far as I have got.

Crochet with Greenhouse Madam. Lördag 2 augusti 2014. Vissa presenter är bättre än andra! I födelsedagspresent fick jag en garnfärgardag! Jag behövde inte bekymra mig om att köpa varken garn eller färg utan det enda jag skulle göra var att infinna mig! Presenten fick jag av Fru Inez. Och vi färgade hemma hos Humlesurr i garnkorgen. Gröna toner, rosa toner samt hallontoner stod på önskelistan! Värmen var enorm och garnet torkade fort, så dagen efter hade vi varsin garnvinda och nystade garn som galningar!
