Likes tea, cats . . . and more recently, ballet. It’s been a sad, sad ballet month thus far. My studio was closed for Thanksgiving week, and then I had to miss a couple of classes for silly reasons. My first class in two weeks was on Monday and I was So. Sore. the next couple of days! BUT Now it’s back to regular ballet! Meet Me at the Barre. Journal of a Ballet Adult Beginner. Monday, August 17, 2015. Why does class have to end with stuff I'm bad at? Class one level up was great on Saturday until the end, when we did petit allegro and grand allegro jumps. The teacher was like, we've been doing this for a few weeks so let's go faster and add more! So it went even more dismally than usual. Honestly, it was pretty discouraging to end on that note. So I did a cowardly thing and did not stay for center. Turn Out Tune Up.
