Something I wrote to my teenage boys in June 2014 (part of a bigger write-up about the Christian Faith - knowing it, accepting it, living it, sharing it, etc.). Comes from the world or Satan, when Satan says: “come on do this thing, it will make you happy and no one will know you did it”, you need to say “let me check this with God’s word, let me see what Jesus would do, let me ask the Holy Spirit to guide me”, etc. But when we truly trust in Jesus.

A non-believers journey through The Bible in 365 days. September 13, 2010. My name is Melissa and I started reading The Bible a little every day so that I can say that I have in fact read it. I have a reading plan set up and will read approximately 3 – 4 chapters a day until the 365 days are over. These will be my thoughts. I am reading the KJV but I will switch over to NIV and re-read a chapter/verse if I feel I need clarification. November 3, 2010. I don’t think I can finish. Not right now anyway.
