Friday, April 17, 2009. Spring has Sprung in Michigan. Back to beautiful Al Sabo Preserve once again. It is such a shame that I have to walk daily for physical therapy (grin). Getting stronger every day. I am slower now, but maybe I'll smell the roses now. . . instead of speeding past them. Steve and Nancy said. Great picture.spring might actually be here in Michigan. I miss our daily walks on the beach. Also, we had chips and dip with dinner (I'll let you know which runs out first!

Monday, December 29, 2008. I went to lunch with a friend the other day. When paying the bill, she said she'd need help calculating the tip; she generally left 20%. I asked the total, which was $17. I said "$3.40", to which she stared at me, wondering how I could calculate it so quickly. I simply explained "double the bill and then remove a zero, and you're set! Marti - You can also calculate by taking 10% of the total and doubling. . . Ha ha). I've had several good days now - FYI. Yippee. . . And we went...

Monday, May 4, 2009. The meadow at Al Sabo is now green with spring growth. As my wise mother used to say, "Enough is enough, and I've had enough". She is loving it. She will come home May 28. Friday, January 30, 2009. Why did I come back? One might easily ask that. 77 degrees vs. 20 degrees; no snow vs deep snow. However, Michigan is home. Michigan is family. It's good to be back.
