Thursday, September 01, 2005. I was diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis at age 22, got a total right hip replacement at 33, and now 5 years post-op I have recovered more strength. And flexibility than I had at age 19. Tell me how you recovered back to life after yours.

Everyday, and not excersizing. I can't believe the search for monetary significance has lead me to sedentary disonence. OK - Turned 43 today, and my hip parts are now 10 years old! I have learned that sleeping on the side of my bionic hip with a very thick pillow between my legs, separating. My knees is imperative, and if I don't sleep that way, sometimes my hip can ache.
