Expect the Unexpected: Beautiful Iris
http://unexpectedspotsofbeauty.blogspot.com/2015/07/beautiful-iris.html
Wednesday, July 22, 2015. I have just a few Iris in my garden. Last April the Iris flowered, then it rained. I was able to capture the incredible color of this wonderful purple flower. Oddly enough, here in my little valley, it hasn't rained since April, except for over a month ago, when it rained few big drops over 15 minutes. The ground is so dry it is hard, like a rock. I'm glad to be able to water my garden every so often. In the meantime, I am praying for rain. They say it may rain this weekend!

http://unexpectedspotsofbeauty.blogspot.com/2015/05/bridge-over-bridge-over-water.html
Thursday, May 7, 2015. Bridge Over Bridge Over Water. I took a whirlwind trip to Southern California last weekend. This was an intriguing bridge combo we passed over and under on our way to our destination. It is a railroad bridge over a bridge, over water! I've never seen anything quite like it before. What a fun place to take a picture! Have a lovely day, dear Friends. Hope you had good time - do like your pic and no I havent seen any double bridges either! May 12, 2015 at 5:51 PM. Welcome to my World.

http://unexpectedspotsofbeauty.blogspot.com/2014/10/glad-foxgloves-in-forest.html
Sunday, October 5, 2014. Glad Foxgloves in the Forest. Last Spring, my darling husband Alan and I were on our way back from celebrating our 31st anniversary. When I saw these growing near the forest, I had to stop to take a picture. My prayer for you today, dear friends is on the side of beauty. That in the mist of danger and trials, you will find that incredible beauty, gladness and hope are yours. T o grant those who mourn in Zion,. Giving them a garland instead of ashes,. Expect the Unexpected: Blue Heart -Guest Heart Thursday
http://unexpectedspotsofbeauty.blogspot.com/2014/10/blue-heart-guest-heart-thursday.html
Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Blue Heart -Guest Heart Thursday. I'm a bit early for Guest Heart Thursday. But I couldn't resist posting this amazing photo today! Yesterday I spotted this heart from my office window just over the fence on the alley. I was SO glad it stuck around until I could run outside with my camera- which is always within arm's reach. It is always kind of fun when the power goes out- one can always hope and dream it will. I guess I'm just a kid at heart. Have a lovely rest of the week!

Expect the Unexpected: Sun Star -SkyWatch Friday
http://unexpectedspotsofbeauty.blogspot.com/2014/09/sun-star-skywatch-friday.html
Friday, September 26, 2014. Sun Star -SkyWatch Friday. I took this wonderful photo of the sun sparkling through the clouds. Do you see the jet? I think back over the centuries, and wonder what Native Americans would have thought of such a sky. I also think of all the people who watch the skies as I do. I watch the news, and my heart is sad for simple folk like me around the world who see things in the skies I have never experienced. Our prayers are with you. September 26, 2014 at 9:04 AM.
