Saturday, January 24, 2009. Then the other story that had me rolling is actually a little embarrassing but I need to document it. Eli has recently been potty trained WOOW HOOOOH! Well I just happened to be stationed on the toilet and for quit some time when Eli came in and sat by me and gave me the same bravery/support talk. It was really cute! Friday, March 27, 2009. When Eli brushes his teeth he loves to run in and ask me to "smell his breath." The funny part is that he lifts his arm up and wants me to smell his armpit. Not quite sure that I see the correlation between brushing his teeth and smelling his pits but it is dang funny! Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Rain Chain at Work. When we redid our gutters the contractor wanted to put a downspout down the side of our porch. This option would have been too tempting for out little monkey so we found this alternative. It is really fun to watch when it rains. Here is Eli with Aunt Danni and Peanut at Nana's work party. Friday, December 5, 2008. Eli's Introduction to Smoking. Eli kept walking over to some men next to us and just staring. I was embarassed. Later I noticed these men taking pictures of Eli and his stares. Then I noticed that these men were smoking. Eli was in awe! He was trying his hardest to smell the smoke. Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Eli was really excited to go "Trick-or-Treat" at his Halloween party and I was excited to go and participate in the fun. It was entertaining to see Eli play with his friends and see the fun things he has been learning. I took each kid one at a time in Cindy's laundry room and prepared them to hand out their candy to each child. Then each kid took turns knocking on the door and yelling "trick-or-treat!
