Friday, September 5, 2014. Boone was released from the hospital on Wednesday into our care and I have to say, after doing this three times now, leaving the hospital feels like such a huge victory. Signing papers just a walk away from OSU stadium (An important fact that James wanted documented). One more important photo before leaving campus. Saturday, September 6, 2014. Interstate adoption is a process that can be frustrating and filled with more waiting than anyone with a brand new baby in an unfamiliar state wants to do. It involves the state of birth signing off on records, then shipping those records to the adoptive family's home state, and then that state has to approve the records and communicate it to the state of baby's birth. We are talking state governments here. So we made our reservations and headed home on Saturday morning.

A day by day account of my life with 3 young boys. Thursday, August 29, 2013. Farm fresh corn is plentiful here in the summer. We have a farm just up the street that grows the best sweet corn I've ever had. I freeze it and put it into different recipes but mostly enjoy it straight from the cob. Tonight I made one of our favorite recipes, Corn Risotto. So tonight, in order to please everyone, I omitted the green onion (gasp! The result was deliciousness without complaining! Can't complain about that.
